img992_1by daisydavidComment: You've crammed how many lines per mm/inch into 800px? Sacrilege! :) And that on a $5500 rangefinder. Yikes! This needs to be uploaded in at least 1920px. Would be nice to see how that film copes with such a range of tones. Great scene to get so much in and still be a pleasant, thoughtful, lead-in lines and contrasts.

img989_2by daisydavidComment: Doesn't get better than that. Besides the nostalgia us "old" 'togs feel for it, there's just a simplicity of the scene and the film characteristics. Took you half a day from start to finish and me 90 seconds to sum it up. Critics! |

29/52 - a bit of action thrown in tooby mitalapoComment: Pretty natural. Not overdone. A simple fun day at the beach and the kids don't want to pack up. All the right elements for an enjoyable seaside photo, and then there's that fab back-light. |

A day of freedomby Alex_PetriniComment: It's a great image, iconic, classic. Just a pity the bird has already flown 75% through the frame, however in fairness it is the end of the day and that can be seen as a departure, an ending. |

Flying High - Proteasby kereinComment: Darn unusual. Looks like a remembrance site for an accident victim. Solemn but DMC. Warm is not often something you'd associate with death or burial, perhaps of the deceased's personality. Proteas hint at South Africa(n). |

present withinby bspurgeonComment: A great placing considering this is a bread and butter shot for you and from my POV ones that are seldom understood (even by me) and appreciated, if it weren't for this particular challenge. Vindication? (7 from me)
Have you noticed something interesting with this is that a large percentage of the commentators Avatars are B&W? :) Take a screenshot Ben before that changes :) |
