Telling your audience what your abstract is in an abstract challenge, probably wasn't the best idea. I would also suggest cleaning whatever surface you are using, as visible dust is going to kill a score every time.

It's a very intriguing photo, but when it comes right down to it, it's probably just a little too advanced and/or before its time when it comes to this challenge. Very little 'motion' (emotion, in my eyes, doesn't count). The abstract, of course, is more surrealistic and psychological than physical, and probably isn't resonating well with DPC. I could, of course, be wrong.

This was my only 10. Adding to my favorites, and while only a 63rd, it has found a place in my personal top 3.

Count me in as adding it to my favorites as a mark of protest for this idiotic score :)

Morning

She awoke that morning, and looked around, stunned, but not entirely unsurprised. She had known for some time that something wasn't entirely right with the house that she had bought. Something was strange there. The noises she heard, the things she had glimpsed out of the corner of her eye.

Yes, something wasn't entirely right, but it hadn't felt entirely wrong either. So when she woke, and found herself sitting up to the touch of a fresh and fragrant breeze, in the middle of an open field, it didn't entirely surprise her, and she somehow knew that she wasn't in New York anymore.

When the darkness threatened to take over their very world, two young princesses found themselves in a fight to save their people.

In a battle of light and dark, they would discover within themselves a power to defy a terrifying evil.

Coming soon, the story of the coming together of two sisters and the awakening of a power within, and the evil that was their destiny to try and destroy.

In the wilds of California, they spoke about him in hushed and awed whispers. Criminals would cower in fear at his name, and people would cheer if ever he was spotted.

As the wind blew, and the sun beat down upon that sandy beach, another call of distress went up. A woman was being assaulted by a rowdy bunch of surfers! Would nobody help? Who would step up to help her?!

Then, like a bolt of lightning from the clear blue sky he came, leaping from the grasses and flying through the air. Was it he? They cried.

Yes! With his famous call he came out of nowhere to another poor soul's rescue. Steve, The California Boarder, flew into the scene and fought off the surfers that dared sully his precious beach.

Smell My Breath
by Art Roflmao

Comment:
How it fell upon Buddy to be the official breath tester, he never knew, but fell upon him it did. For awhile, he was ok with it. He would sniff the breath of the master before every date, and would bark once if it was good, twice if it was bad. Then one day, after a night out, he had come home with a strange woman, and that woman had began to frequent the home, and soon she had come to stay. Then, he had two people to check, and the job had become sort of tedious. Still, he loved his master and had begun to love the woman as well, so he continued, despite his growing dissatisfaction.

Then, there came a day when a new entity had entered the equation. A small bundle of humanity that mostly just laid there and cried and pooped, and though he knew that his duty was to protect this tiny little thing, a part of his mind warned him that one day it would not be content to just lie there. For these things tended to grow, and when they grew, they became more like his master, and when they became more like his master, he would have another breath to test!

And so came that day, and it was the straw that broke the camel's back. So it came to be that he was called upon to do his duty, and he approached this babbling, grabbing human of diminutive stature, and put his nose up to his mouth and...

... later, after having been bathed and while sitting on his bed in the corner lamenting his lot in life, he wished that he would have been warned. Warned that these small humans had a tendency to release such foul ejections from their mouths.

He sat and stewed, and the memory of the moment made him shudder, and he was such a poor puppy, and he was too old for this kind of thing.
