Summer Decadenceby Little KingComment: I like the different take on the crop, not sure about the glass in the background - maybe if the lemon wedge wasn't cropped. Depth of field works well with the abstract feel here. |

It does add a nice emphasis though, and I'm sure would look nice framed. That said, for a photo challenge, I think the border is a bit much. The exposure, bokeh and composition of the flower are very nice though. |

Yellow Attack!by Penny LaneComment: Hmm... The motion blur or focus softness here detracts from the image imho. The overall pose looks very forced and unnatural to me (she may not be a great actress = ). The colors and exposure are nice though. |

Touch Upby banmornComment: I like the idea, but the photo itself is a little busy imho. Might be fixable by eliminating the paint can lid (I don't think the lid is really necessary), desaturating all but the yellow channel and focusing more on the petals and less on the central part of the flower. Those are my suggestions anyway. |

The Valleyby cabaComment: Awesome shot. The contrast between the ground and sky makes this. I like the choice to show more of the sky rather than the field as well - makes for a different approach. |
