Lighting the candleby IreneMComment: Interesting idea. The colors are pretty good, and the reflection is very nice. The motion of lighting the candle is particularly clear. The shot also looks a little grainy to me. Oh, and nice contrast. |

Whisksby EstimatedEyesComment: The composition forces the motion to the side, which to me, just takes it out of the picture completely. The lighting makes some harsh highlights, primarily on the bowl in the top. Overall, it's just kind of weak. |

Static Watch - Moving Time - Eleven Secondsby TacTZillaComment: Ok, I suppose the second hand works as a seperate element...The image is nice and sharp, the part that kills it for me is that annoying magnifier at the bottom. You can see the reflection in it, and it takes away from the sharness of the shot. I know it's not really your fault, but it detracts from the picture. |

Portrait of a Baseballby smurfguyComment: So interesting. I don't like that the ball, which is the subject of the picture is so small. This idea might have worked out better with a different "setup" and composition. |
