CUTby rwo82939Comment: This is great. Perfect sync with the assignment of not easily identified at first glance. Balance in both form and focus is excellent IMHO. For some stupid reason the little, tiny, miniscule, black "handle" on the upper right-hand stem (under the upper-most "wing") is just a wee bit troublesome. Still rates a "9" in my book. Nice! |

cleaning, on a cellular levelby sadiebirdComment: Nice variation on the "bubbles" theme. Good sync with the assignment as I can't, even after the third look, decide where what the subject it? Tripe under ice? I like the pastel quality, too. |

Alien skin and veinsby shamrockComment: This is a great shot and very much syncs with the assignment of it being something you won't recognize at first. It's my third take and I'm still not sure it's really organic. Is it a leaf? Or a 22nd century energy pipeline running through an Amazon forest of undeveloped suburban housing lots? Really nice shot. |

good to the last....by ehoscaComment: Is this an insurance ad? I'm very curious on setup details. I like the idea of doing it desaturated because it adds to the overall balance of the various forms without drawing attention to any one thing. Nice. |

New Zealand Fernby dx_powerComment: This is a beautiful picture. I look foward to some technical details. The color is amazing. The background is, of course, perfect for the subject, especially the clouds. The only thing that isn't point on is that you can tell, immediately, that it's a plant and is easily identified so the abstractness is not quite consistent with the "Abstract Macro" assignment. It's going on my favorites list, though. |

Macroscopic Teeth?by sniperComment: Very interesting shot. Kinda reptilian? I wonder how a darker background behind the teeth would look in contrast to the ligher one you used. |

These are a few of my favourite thingsby SiggavComment: This is a nice shot but I find the vertical white background section a bit distracting. It takes away from the organic feel to the rest of the shot. Great idea. Did you get a release from the model? |
