Portrait of Amelieby whiteroomComment: Hmmm, thought I commented on this one but it has popped up again, basically what I said was that this girls eyes are incredibly engaging, and the lighting you have used accentuates that well - they almost twinkle. The fact that she is staring straight at the lens however, makes the violin seem almost extraneous. Still on the stength of those eyes its a seven. |

Girl & Dogby kearockComment: Very cute candid. Seems a little haphazard perhaps, but it's heartwarming nonetheless. |

Snow Mountainby sfarrell23Comment: Very pretty mountains - I really like what you are trying to do here, but I think the red tree in the foreground ruins the effect to a degree. Would have liked the nice, even, division between green trees, mountain and sky that would have resulted if it were not there. 6 |

Peaceful Streamby rayg544Comment: Nice composition here, the reflections are pretty - its a shame you can see the road on the left. Additionally I think the sunlight is a bit harsh in parts - makes the colours seems a little washed out. |

Sunset in Montanaby NeuferlandComment: Thats a very dramatic sky - your adjustments work well. The trees provide a nice framing effect to boot. |

Getting ready to give her daughter awayby dimitriiComment: Terrific catch... I hope this wasn't set up - then I can label you the master of the candid. On the other hand if it was set up I can commend you on your wild imagination and the tremendous perspective you've chosen. 10. (by the way - the high key effect works well here). |

Weird Stoneby honkwokComment: Well stone, shell, or petrified pinecone this image is very effective. I really like the way the colouring of your 'stone' is so similar to the background, yet it is completely distinguishable in spite of the relatively deep DOF due to it's disparate shape. |
