Regrets_8025.010312by mariucaComment: I love how the woman with her back to us appears to be fascinated by the poster/picture we can see. I also enjoy the contrast between her slightly unkempt mass of curly hair and the stylishly groomed straight silky hair of the model. A possible cause for regrets, perhaps? |

Lymelightby sidpixelComment: Lyme Regis? This is a pretty spectacular double rainbow. Great job on the placement, great catch. |

2012, Here we come!by jjbeguinComment: Fascinating, and a lovely tone. I especially like that the undergrowth overlapping the edges of the steps creates a feel of the lower steps meandering slightly to right and left rather than just going straight up. Well seen. |

Kissing Gingerby tangueraComment: I hope this is doing well Johanna. It's a luscious shot, full of great textures and colors, as well as being a wonderfully unusual portrait. |

Upstairs - Downstairsby casdsrComment: Wonderful sense of place, but I'm curious why you chose to focus on the top step. The textures on the cobble stones at that spot are lovely, but not enough to carry the picture IMO. |

Zion National Parkby claylikethemudComment: Lovely tones, leading line of the valley, winding road on the right. It's hard to capture the majesty of this type of scene at 800 pixels but the detail in the main rock feature on the left carries this image. Nice! |

Timelessby NeilComment: I like this capture of buildings and holiday lights, and how my eye gets drawn into the scene by the leading line of the road, but to my eyes it is over processed, and over-sharpened to the point that it looks unnatural. But the lovely clock and winter scene brings the Rupert Brooke line to mind: Stands the .. clock at ten to three? And is there honey still for tea? |
