There is a tide in the affairs of men...by mariucaComment: Gorgeous colours, I love the double yellow transecting the scene. I like the red at the top too.
I'm less keen on the cars on the left, a curious inclusion for me.
It's a great scene, well-captured though. |

White linesby GeorgesBogaertComment: Bang! That's the contrast smacking me in the face.
Great starkness to go with the busyness of the scene. |

Speed Limit 25by GeneralEComment: Nicely done - great sense of freedom and of cool crisp air. I enjoy the tilt, it communicates an in-the-moment feel. |

Grazingby chazoeComment: Night of the bovine! I like how we are communing with them. Excellent tones too.
I like how you aren't afraid of the shadows. |

Flying Fishby MelethiaComment: I like the 'aha' moment; it's a great moment too. I also like the severed head sitting on the platform! Is that for dessert??!
Each of the faces we see offers something additional to the image - I particularly like the glee of the lady on the far left.
Nicely made. |

Noahby odriewComment: I love this - the title too. One of two gulls arrive with the rain, his ark parked beyond the wall.
The graffiti, a signature of a spoilt world that he'll miss less than much.
Great tones, excellent story, beautifully subdued.
The split tones are magnificent.
Magic. And a 10 from me. |

Apprehensionby ibkcComment: Oh, how I know Ubique likes some drama! His words of advice to me have included getting in close and dirty, especially when it kicks off. It can't be real though can it? That pistol is in grabbling distance, even if a grab would lead to a head shot.
It looks convincing though so I have to consider that possibility...
Very interesting image. |

eye levelby tvsometimeComment: The spectacle lens grounds the image for me - an anchor around which the rest pivots. The steering wheels adds to the sense of 'turnability'.
I like how the photograph transcends the scene. It that sense, I think you have the measure of the challenge. Well done. |
