 Title - LOL, couldn't think of anything. :-)

Have no idea how this really looks. Using a small travel loptop on vacation that isn't really calibrated. Felt like tossing something in. Love the subject, would have really liked to have time to set something up in the woods. Maybe next time.

WOW! That was fun. We were on vacation last week and I kept checking in to watch this. Never below an 8, crazy! Took a screen grab at 9 votes when it was at 8.75xx. :-)

So, I guess I need to thank the moth for this. :-D Friday, we're packing to go on vacation. I head out to the storage shed to grab some items and noticed this moth on the side door (beige color door) and I'm like cool, this would work for the challenge. Went to find a piece of wood to see if I could get it to move onto something more photogenic. When I approached the moth it flew off … and landed right on a big oak tree!!!! Yay! Grabbed some photos with my phone and hoped for the best (thought the photo was "ok"). Hard to work it up on my travel laptop (color calibration was off). Uploaded it a couple of times to DPC and checked how it looked on my phone screen - made corrections on laptop, reload, etc.

Couple of top scores with my phone recently. Maybe I should just sell my camera gear? Just kidding (mostly).

It might be just as well you didn't have time to set something up in the woods! Congratulations on the blue and a new PB. There can't be very many shots on here with a better score than that.

Great find for this challenge. The moth is clear thanks to his body having that dark crack underneath him, but those wings blend in beautifully.
