Terrific perspective, the depth of him. Beautifully wrought and fills me with wonderment.
Personal favorite of the challenge.

Works very well. Utopia or dystopia? Man and machine, arteries of the modern world.

Fantastic work as always Mark. Congrats! You have a real skill for these composites and obviously superb photography skills to match

I told you this was the "Mark Wiley" challenge topic. :D

This one is also fabulously interesting and weird.

(Personally, I'd have removed the armpit hair, but that's just me.)

Congratulations on your RIBBON!

My favorite of the challenge, and probably of all your composites. Congrats on the ribbon, this is marvelous. I especially love all the underlying meanings one can imagine.

Easily the best of all your composite images, Mark. I was one of the 10's, and you just made it onto my favorites list, which is something I haven't been doing a lot of lately... The juxtaposition just couldn't be better, or more powerfully metaphorical, and the B/W processing is first class.

disturbing is not the right word. it doesn't stop at disturbing, which makes it cathartic.

it is the aestheticization of death, like those Victorian photos of corpses. Photography circling back again.

I have a poem with the same title.

I'm hanging you in my fantasy art gallery

I was only looking at your famous photo of train tracks the other day, before this challenge started. I love that photo.

Not sure if you’ve noticed a few stray hairs on your shoulder left behind ;) Think you’ve blended this in well. I’m not sure I like the tilt of your head. I would’ve preferred maybe the whole of your face be in the photo. Still a pretty good job, bumping this up.

Powerful. It has a deja vu feel but such is the human anatomy as well!
