    Biography: I am short sighted, colour blind, ice hockey player with the creative talent of a house brick.

    I am therefore amazed that I have been able to generate even one decent image.

    Having started photography only two years ago, i have learned so much from the comments and competitions here on DPC. Thank you for your constructive criticism. Although hard to take sometimes, it has certainly helped.

    I have not missed an open challenge since joining and don't intend to start now. I love the competitive element to the site. It's this that keeps driving me to improve. Although I am often torn between chasing a good score with a formulaic entry or pushing my creative boundaries. One day perhaps I will be good enough to do both in the same shot!
