My name is Chuck -- I live in Apache Junction, AZ (East of Phoenix). Feel free to see my web site for some examples of my work.
My main interests are concert and theatre photography -- combine low-light and photojournalism, and I'm a happy man.
I am also a long-distance / endurance motorcyclist. It's hard to balance the motorcycling and photography some times (they both take a lot of money and time), but I do the best I can.
My wife, Nicole, puts up with my interests as best she can -- I owe her a lots of thanks for tolerating all my toys. ;)
I have decided my profile name here at DPC should be "ThreadKillah"... it seems like 90% of the threads I reply to never see another reply afterward. I guess I either sum everything up so there's nothing *left* to say, or people think I make such a fool of myself, they don't know *what* to say. I fear the latter. :P
Lots of people seem to love listing goals in their bio, so I'll jump on board with mine. Pretty standard stuff:

- Have someone pick *me* as a favorite photographer.
- Add comments when I vote.
- Relax when people don't leave comments for my photos.
- Stop hitting the "refresh" button so often when I have a photo in a challenge.
- Become a registered member.
- KEEP submitting photos! I keep waiting for another "better" shot to submit each week, until the week is over... I just gotta suck it up and submit something -- scores, smores...
Oh, and I have a gear wish-list. Christmas is (always) just around the corner, after all.......
- Nikon 50 1.2 lens (Yes, the 1.2 I have the 1.8 now... I love it, but I want the 1.2, 9-bladed, all-metal, drool drool drool...).
- Nikon 85 1.8 lens (or maybe the 1.4 if I'm really nice?).
- Tokina 12-24 lens... Or do I want the Sigma 10-20? I keep flip-flopping. Now I think I'd rather have the Tokina 11-16 2.8... Ohhh, yes.
- Nikon 600 4.0 VR (AW, COME ON! You know you want one, too. $10k for a lens? That's what second mortgages are for).
