    Biography: Relative newbie to these things but been back into photography for the last few years. Started out with a shiny new 400D at the foot of a big learning curve, now it's 2010 and I've picked up a 7D, but still a whole lot to learn! Planning to start posting more photos here again as I value any feedback. If you have any input on my photos, please drop me a comment - positive or negative - I'm here to learn and have fun :)

    I live in Cambridge UK and I work as an analytical chemist so bring on the science challenges :) If you are in the area and want to meet up to shoot, drop me a PM.

    If you are here because of a comment or score I left then you may care that when I vote, I will generally always give out all the scores between 4 and 10 in a given challenge, with 3 or less reserved for visually unappealing and completely DNMC type shots. I'll score lower for shoehorned DNMCs however pretty they are, and higher for entries that really tackle the challenge - although I try to be open minded for more creative approaches :)

    I try to put suggestions in my comments when they occur to me, but these are just my opinions - feel free to ignore me!

    Earn 7 more scores of 6+ (7/7 achieved) - DONE!
    Replace as many of my top five with new shots as I can! (5/5 done) - COMPLETE!
    A top ten finish (I can dream!) Wow, did it with a new PB! Lets try for another to check it's not a fluke Wow a ribbon! Lets see if we can find another this year? Complete the set with a Red? Colour me happy :)
