    Biography: What I do:
    I'm a physics student (almost done with my bachelor) and I work as a scientific analyst in a company that develops durable technological solutions.

    What I have too little time for to do (i.e., hobbies):
    Astronomy (since I was 8 yrs old or so), all things technological, photography (why would I be here otherwise..), etc.

    What I want to accomplish on DPC:
    Main goal: sharpen my own observation skills, becoming (even) more aware of my surroundings.
    Secondary goals:
    - Have fun competing
    - Improve my photography skills
    - Show you that 'cheap' P&S cameras (SLR-type though) can give good results: It's the photographer that matters first, then the camera.
    - Improve my PP skills (GIMP only).

    To reach those goals I will try to:
    - enter a challenge (done!)
    - break the 6 mark barrier
    - get my average vote received above 6
    - score better than most in a challenge (>50%) (done)
    - score better than 75%
    - score better than 84%
    - reach the top 10 in a challenge

    You never know... when a meteor will hit you!

    Stuff I want to do:
    - the reverse-lens macro thing
    - night photography
    - find my tripod!
    - splash pics
