Biography:

Born in Istanbul in 1981. Second and the last child of the family (have a brother). '92 primary school, '99 high school, '03 University (Computer Science). Been to army (obligatory here in Turkiye) for 1 year. Started photography with Canon EOS 50 (analog) in 1996. Bought my second lens (75-300mm) in 2000. Started diving with SCUBA in May 2003. Started underwater photography with an Sea&Sea MX-5 II bought from a friend. Saved money for a year and then bought a Canon EOS 300D + 100mm macro + Sea&Sea DX-300D housing + YS-55TTL/E flash. Knowledge of land photography helped a lot underwater. Working in our company with my father and brother producing plastic parts and molds for automotive and white goods (since 1974). Love sea, water. Swimming (long distance amateur swimmer - 1500m), diving, fishing, windsurfing, love cars, F1, as a computer scientist I am a fan of anything 'computerized'. I hate digital cameras with sensors smaller than 35mm film although I have one like that. I hope I will get an EOS 5D. I can't get the taste of fisheye underwater. No I can't speak German, I just looked up the word 'unterwasserphotograph'.
