    Biography: Born in 1954, Kristo was raised in a writer’s and art photography environment. His father was a writer, a photographer, a philosopher and a teacher and his mother was also a photographer.
    Kristo learned photography from his parents and his uncles at an early age. He started creating special effects photography at the age of 12, using the darkroom of his parents to create abstract work
    At the age of 14 Kristo was already writing poetry, influenced by poets such as Verlaine, Ronsard Beaudelaire and other poets.
    Kristo moves to the United States at the age of 19 where he earned his degree in Art Photography, and worked in the field for 5 years. Writing, drawing and the study of mysticism were his passion for many years, but it was not until he met Haitian master Jean Claude Garoute, AKA Tiga, that his passion for painting developed. Under the guidance of Tiga, Kristo created many abstract work of art that are now being displayed at Utopia Art and Entertainment.
    “This completes the circle, the missing link that I have been searching for so long. Painting takes me to another world, where freedom is not a vain word, but a liberating reality.”
