    Biography: Some days I feel like my journey in life has been full of twists. I spent four years studying music education, only to have my love of playing nearly rubbed out of me. Not wanting to completely destroy something that was such a big part of me, I changed direction and began studying Early Childhood Education. After several years and plenty of student loans I'm about to graduate and have landed my first job working with toddlers.

    Unfortunately, I've never quite been able to find the same joy in playing music that I once had. But in a roundabout way, I think that experience opened the door to photography for me. When I was 5 years old I got my first camera and have always been envious of the beautiful work that so many photographers do. The advent of digital photography has let me explore and experiment to my heart's content.
