Biography:

Raconteur, epicurean and gastronome, occasional roue, gadfly, and just all-around nice guy. I work for the Madison Wisconsin school district as a school psychologist. I have also been fortunate to be on the staff of the local planetarium as an instructor, and have worked with the school district's observatory. For several years I have edited the newsletter of the Madison Astronomical Society. Some of my hobbies are reading, chess, american football, and obviously astronomy. I have lived in Madison, WI for the past 19 years. Additional fascinating biographical details can be found here.

I'm not a "joiner" so you won't find me on any teams, and I don't set goals. I just like to take pictures and occasionally enter challenges. I''ve been a DPC member for four years and I love this community and the people in it.

Smartypants is my daughter. She is a careful and thoughtful photographer. Watch out for her work! (you've been warned)
