    Biography: I have been into digital photography since 1998 when I bought a HP Photo Smart camera that had a resolution of 640 x 480. I have upgraded a few times since then. I have been mostly using the camera to document our life (my wife and I). I find the digital camera ideal for this as I can take a huge number of photos and they are all date and time stamped. Only recently have I gotten interested in trying to take photos that really look good on their own right. I am new to this site but already I am finding both the competition and the comments very helpful. I find I look at my photos with a very different eye if I am going to enter it for judgement. I will continue to take the snap shots that I always have but I will be happy if I can learn to turn out a really good photo from time to time.
