    Biography: I started out drawing faces. It was my hobby, my joy. The more I drew them the more I started understanding faces, not just in how to draw them but in how to see them. To see the emotions, the thoughts, the feelings in each portrait I drew.

    In my art, I like to capture those ideals. The emotions of our stuggles and fears, our joys and sorrows. Because that is where one becomes connected to another, through our past experiences. One becomes who they are through those experiences. And one makes decisions through the experiences that once had them floundering in question.

    The intent of my work, in photography and printmaking, is to draw the viewer in. The work is meant to be looked at closely and throughtfully. The images are about the emotions or the lack of emotions that is tied to an individual. Although much of my work is from within, I also get my ideas from the outside world. The forms are kept simple and shadowy to make it a representation of thought or action that one might feel or wish but may never show or never act on.

    Realationships have always intrigued me. Relationship's with the self to the relationships with others, in the way that people treat and respect others. The impact that one person has on another's life is beyond comprehension. Those fragments, moments and pieces of time begin to define and shape and individual. And those sorrows, triumphs and struggles start creating the character in which one becomes.
