    Biography: Attraction
    I am attracted to art that suggests tranquility. Drawn to quiet and peaceful works, I look for art with a certain intrigue that keeps me from looking away. Observing art not questioning what it is, but why it is, I ask myself why is this happening? What is this person feeling? The piece is not just paper, paint, pencil, or text, but a narrative. I prefer the simple "less is more" stillness of art.

    My Love
    I've always had a love for photography. I enjoy the insight that can be created with the serenity of a black and white photograph. Without color one is able to see past the surface and into the feeling of an image. My first 'mixed media' work was created in college. I immediately loved it and my work began to show wintergreen, wax, paper towels, melted crayon, fabric, ink, string, and metal. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my mixed media pieces took on the same calming experience as my photography.
