Wonderful light throughout the frame. Nothing easy about controlling exposure in shadows and highlights in this situation. Bravo! That's a beautiful aspen grove. Amazing detail. Great presentation and technique. Well deserved top 10%. Congrats!

Great depiction of how these scenes look to the eye, which can be very difficult, HDR or otherwise. Your snow looks so natural and perfect, which is always my struggle on these shots.
Very nicely taken- I just love the stretching shadows pulling us into the sun.

Nice. I took a photo similar to this a few weeks ago that I'm also proud of. The was the shadows interact with the texture of the snow is what I really like.

I really love these winter shots. And this photo reminds me of one particular spot in Oklahoma. The trees were all planted by prisoners, in a perfectly straight line... so no matter where you stood in the midst of it all, you could see a straight path. It was rumored that the woods there were haunted, though I never went there at night (what a pity). Beautifully composed and processed. Love the sunlight peeking through the trees. The sharpness is right on. And the photo is wonderful!
