thanks for comments. i was going to call it weathered hands but at the last moment it seemed to be prying open the screen.
btw, those are my own rough and rugged masculine hands ; ) .. |

| Interesting photo if just for all the texture in that skin (although cuticles like that make me feel uncomfortable!). The lighting and composition here are cool. |

| These are hands with real character. The black and white is super here....fantastic tone. The composition is also very good. I sure like this shot, I love the feeling here. |

A very good concept. I feel the lighting lets it down a little - it's a bit *too* shadowy for my liking.
Still, a pretty good shot and very imaginative. Well done. |

| Cool. Looks real. Just wish you hadn't off-cropped this one. Would have more realism if had been centered. But good job. Give his cuticles a manacure. They make mine hurt. I'd give this one an 8. PLT |
