thank you to everyone who liked this image..I know it was a little over the top
I used three images in Nik HDR software
at Realistic Strong setting;
then layer masked background for uniform tone with hue/sat layer.

I so like your sunflowers. Beautiful the way you rendered and presented. Most deservedly you attained the placing of ten. We two are the only entries out of 405 that have sunflowers as the theme.

I really like this - the colours are superbly vibrant and the part opened flower makes it a more unusual subject. Perhaps wish the top petals weren't cropped off, but the clarity is very good.

Floral rays slowly open one by one
yellow bursts with the touch of the sun.
The fields come alive with morning light
as bugs & plants shake of the blanket of night.

Wow, very bold, and vibrant hues of green and yellow! I also love all the detail in the sunflower.

I love how it's not peeled back yet on one side. Gorgeous rich color. And there's some mathematical progression (Fibonacci series?) in the way the center is formed. Nature is fascinating and this is a wonderful example!
