I tried to have my cat on my shoulder, didn't happen. She kept jumping off before the camera timer went off. |

I gave this a 6. I think the pose is great. The expressions on the human and on the cat are great.
The reason it didn't get over 6 is that it's too controlled for my taste, too safely in the genre of studio portrait, as exemplified by that backdrop. I have a thing about non-backgrounds. |

Nice composition, the woman's expression pairs with the black cat's unusual pose to give the photo a sense of mischief. |
