When you let your eye work across the center of the frame, there is magical detail. This would look best large. Gallery large.

I didn't like this much, and I can't figure out why, and that bothers me quite a bit, so I didn't vote on it.
At least others liked it though! Great finish for a FS. I'm willing to accept I'm wrong in this one :-D

truly excellent postprocessing, I love how the light is encapsulated in darkness. And the only escape point for the eye, the bottom reflection, can only suggest to go back to the grass and the trees.
Quite in love with this.

That really is unique. A sense of mystery. There's good flow in the image, partial S curve, and the way the light bathes through the grass highlighting every stem is beautiful. Film quality. I find that in the past few months entries are braver and less conformist to the crisp, shiny, over-saturated DPC formula shots. Encouraging...for photography. Top Marks (9)
