Once again, I had nothing for the whole week. Went out to shoot and came back with garbage! Then I did some searching on the Internet for some direction and found an idea to pursue. I went and spent some more $ on a large white sheet, asked one of my employees, Tristan to help me do the set up in the warehouse of my office, thanks Tristan! I can post some set up shots later. Almost walked away from the whole thing on last day of challenge because of technical issues with the set up. I am not entirely experienced at the elaborate set up shots, but the final round of WPL and the Long Shots were my motivation to keep going. I took off work the entire afternoon the last day of the challenge and readjusted the setup, did some shooting, and after arriving home only to discover that the lighting was wrong and I had to go back to the office in the evening to re-shoot again. So this is the best result I could achieve with Basic editing. I will post the image I wanted to enter, but couldn't due to limited editing rules. Anyway, I hope this helps the team score in the final round of WPL2. Go Long Shots! It's been an amazing amount of fun and I will miss dearly our daily exchanges on our images!

If this would have been an advance edit challenge, this may have been one I may have entered. I don't own any "real" background photography cloth or any real paper type of backdrop, so I bought some white cotton fabric and stretched it between a 2X4 on top, some 4X4 pieces of wood on the floor and two ladders on the sides for which I used packaging tape to stretch the fabric tight enough to avoid any wrinkles. Well, it worked to a certain degree, but there always seemed to be a wrinkle no matter how hard I tried. So the cropped version made it as the entry since I couldn't do any spot cleaning. Spot cleaning, get it? Ha Ha! Anyway, I like this version much better and is more of what I going for. I needed the fabric to be wrinkle free, so if anyone has any suggestions on how to achieve this with minimal effort, please feel free to comment.

Then here are a couple shots of the set up in my warehouse. I ended up with two soft boxes up front which these shots do not show. I maybe should have taken even MORE time and done a better job, but I was really getting worn out. It's amazing how much energy shots take out of a person.

Well done on remembering the hat and gloves, haha. I like this idea, nice focus on the garbage too. Not sure I like the lines of shapes surrounding the light but a good take on the challenge overall.
