Probably no DPC ribbon given the current score, but it made it to 1X, so I'm more than happy!

One of my top picks, Christophe. Nice to see your fantasies keep coming.

Lovely construction, Christophe. If I had a nit, it would be that the "bow wave" is a bit too emphatic. Congrats on the HM!

While this is not your usual quality, Christophe, it's still quite far above the most of us.

CONGRATS on a great finish!

Terrific conceptual shot, Christophe. A bit of fantasy is nice to see at DPC. Not a ribbon but still an HM. Congrats!

Whilst the concept, photography and post processing are top notch and are the indicative signature and creative process of only one member at DPC, confirmed by finding it on 1x, I think it fails the spirit of this challenge. i.e. that of something we see in the real world, such as a young boy playing with a newspaper boat at his local dam or a trawler heading out to see. Whilst you may argue this is your interpretation, I'm afraid I can't recall seeing newspaper boats steaming down a river at 20 knots, judging by the wake, and at least 24' high judging by the passenger's height vs the boats height. Artistic license sure. I think it's poor form (maybe academic) that you should post the image elsewhere on the web whilst it is in voting here, but it does confirm the authorship. Naturally you've received an above average score from me for your remarkable talent and the image and PP quality alone, yet it could have been higher. That is my interpretation. No doubt it will be on the front page.

the splash is frozen by a fast shutter but the water is smoothed by a slow shutter. The result looks like a localized disturbance of water with no ripples.

Nice :)

Why in the reflection you included the written words too? Much better without them.
