Multiple self portraits because no one wants to model for me (my husband said 'oh, no - that's nutty stuff.' I put my camera on a pile of stuff on a chair, and 'posed'? in front of some black cloth over a clothes horse, which was rather limiting. I messed my hair up and wrapped an old dirty drop cloth from the garage around myself - yeah, nutty stuff.

Wow! Thanks everyone for your votes and comments. Now I have a full complement of ribbon colours. Happy me! - No, actually I don't. I don't have a brown, although I missed that honour by just one place a few weeks ago.
I think this is going to sit on my front page for a looong time. It makes a change from the flowery stuff anyway.

Holy Sh8 this thing is scary!

Looking closer, I really like how the cloth covering seems to blend from the lowest person to the older, suggesting that the garment itself is one whole piece and that the spectres behind are emerging from her fears into reality. Also, that 'second' spectre's eyes aren't looking quite straight and that's just creepy as hell.

yeesh.

I usually end up doing my challenge entry work late at night, so the idea of shooting and editing this in the wee hours gives me the willies!!!

What I don't like is the ugly transitions to black all along the top edge (compare to the soft grained transitions to black in the hair on the middle left). Everything else is spot on.

Hahahahaha I have the same problem. No one in my family will model for me. So I have been modeling for myself. One thing good about being your own model you never complain and have no problem doing nutty stuff. Great photo!
