 I discovered something very cool shooting in near infrared, namely, that at this point the lit part of the Moon was below the horizon and I couldn't see the shadowed portion because the sky was too bright. However, the NIR did pick it up, as evidenced by this image. I discovered something not so cool too...that when shots are bracketed in manual mode on the D70, the ISO is what gets changed so I have a bunch of high ISO crap. Sheesh.
