microscopic life will still be here, & evolving, long after humans are gone, & including genetically engineered viruses

this comp started out as an image of a knothole in a wooden fence. I made use of layers, layer blending, & image rotation to create the final comp.

I was sure this was a horseshoe crab all abalonied. I love the shimmer the asym/symmetry, and the story behind it.

I like this, sort of makes you think a little bit, perhaps a tighter cropped would have helped it, all the black makes my eyes wander a bit.

Whatever this is, it's so cool. This looks like a symmetry double of one of those high speed exploded water balloons.
