My favorite tree in Yarra Valley. I like the triangle formed by the water, the line of the hill, and the tree. The colors are different on desktop, laptop and Ipad. I like Ipad colors the best, very slightly blue greys and warm yellows and reds.

Most unexpected ribbon, instead of crashing it just went up and up. Thanks! I have now full set of 7s on my member page! :)

Maybe a bit heavy on the processing but oh what a lovely little tree!!

This tree leaves me wondering about its life story alone on that hillside. Nicely done.

A slightly different crop with less on the top might have worked better for me. I really like your shot but think that the foreground is a bit over saturated and out of balance with the background. I do love the processing on the tree though. 6

Beautiful. I especially love the painterly feel.

Seems rather unbalanced though. The tree is kind of arcing out of frame instead of into it, carrying my eye with it.

I wish I could see this scene from a few footsteps to the left -- just to where the tree curls over the canal and cradles it.

Compositionally, this shot leads me right away from the tree due to the leading line of the canal and the fact the tree is in the left third and bending to the left. The bend acts like an arrowhead pointing to the water which leads me to the right edge of the photo. You have great color and exposure and a wide range of light.

Oh I really like the composition. The bend in the tree gives it an almost shy human quality. Lovely. 8
