This is the project I was supposed to do at home today! It's the door to my woodshed. But after making a journey into a friend's woods to get some wood for kindling, I saw how nice the light was, and the possibility of a decent shot. So I dropped off the wood at home, grabbed gear and the door, and went to work.
Used mirror lockup, remote release, camera on tripod and of course, good ol Siggy.
And yes, this time I did go a little hawg wild on the pp, for me anyway! But so far as I know everything I did was legal.
pp: RAW-TIFF conversion, crop, brightness/contrast, vibrance/saturation, dodge and burn, minor cloning, photo filter, some HDR, resize, sharpen, save for web

Aww I got DQ'd cause somehow I managed to switch the date back a year :-(
But in terms of physical setup, as littlemav wants to know...
This was shot in a friend's woodlot so I trucked in the door, camera, tripod and oh yeah a length of rope wth its help. Chose the location then after taking all the stuff out of the wheelbarrow, stood in it and strung up the rope between the trees.
The door had an old set of coathooks on the back so just ran the rope underneath them. Then got down, wheeled away the barrow, eh wala, floating door with the base about 2 ft of the ground! And the door itself is a simple door made 1x6 planks so it wasn'ty heavy or difficult to lift.
Then it was just a matter of splaying out the tripod legs, mounting up Siggy and getting the exposure. As I was essentially shooting blind, with the camera only being inches off the forest floor, I had to get shots then chimp through them.
The rope didn't actually show all that much, but it was still visible wrapped around the trunks so I cloned it out. As mentioned already the rest is my usual pp but with a hit of HDR thrown in.
