 I took the Los Angeles Metro from the station nearest my house to the station at the intersection of the 105 and the 110. Seemed to be a rather nifty vantage point to see the mass of concrete that formed a huge intersection of roadways. LA's metro is not very picturesque, however, and the views were somewhat abbreviated by the structure itself. So this is looking from a stairwell down to the roadway below, over the railing and under the concrete structure overhead. 'Tis a very narrow view.

Just beyond that railing is a very small ledge high above the roadway, and all along that ledge, single file.... What a place to have to live... you'd think they'd find a nice electrical wire where it was quieter with fresher air. But they are sheltered from the weather (ha! we have perfect weather) and have the perfect vantage point for coating cars with pigeon guano.



Hoping to crack 5.3 with this one. Not overly optimistic, though.

Nope, not yet over 5.3 when I turned scores on.... but maybe it'll get some love before the challenge ends? Scores are back off... will just have to wait and see! Definitely another sub-50%'er. Gosh I'm getting good at those!

Another fascinating shot. I would not care too much about what the average DPC voter thinks if I could snag yet another PH mention and several glowing comments from folks I respect. Let's have no more talk of giving up challenges.

This is a great shot which reminds me the iconic Cartier-Bresson image (the arrow plays the role of the cyclist :)). Congrats on the well-deserved bling Deb!
