Thank you everyone for the encouragement, it's what creates the great site we have. I thought of the story the other way than most looked at it, for me the water sparkles & bird are set in the night sky. Anyway here are the originals

Must be digital... looks great though.

A lovely tale here, almost good for Oscar Wild's beautiful children story.
I find it though that the background should have been slightly adapted as tonality so that the moon will not be so totally alien from the stars. It's too much like two shots put together. To me, the picture could almost be nicer if the moon gets cropped.
Bump up

I really like the stars in the water, but my initial reaction was that the moon looked out of place.

This is lovely. I think you used a star filter on your camera to get the starry lights, but I believe various images were combined to create this magical scene. NOT REAL

=) Photoshopped, but I definitely find the unrealistic nature of this image appealing.

I would think this is a combination of 3 photographs: moon, bird and water with sparkles

Interesting effect. I definitely believe this is a digital composite. the moon alone seems to be too perfect to be a reflection. The lights look interesting and I wonder how that was created.

Not real but I love the surreal composition and elements and you've put them together beautifully.

Not real....star bursts are too distinct and moon reflection is too sharp for water.

How cool!!!! Just wish the moon were a bit brighter to complete with the stars.
