Blooming agave and streetlight. That flower stalk is about 25 feet high. I've shot it at various times during the blooming process.

Exposure Compensation set to -3/3. Rotated image, "stretched out" the sky on three sides to fill the new canvas area. Applied the perspective tool to correct for the wide-angle lens and get the two verticals a bit more parallel.

Cropped final image to DPC size, applied USM at 88%; 0.6 dia; TH=5. Then cropped a little smaller to enable saving at a higher JPEG setting (9/10).

Too cute. Concentrate on botany. Earlier or later in the day would improve the shadows at the bottom left.

Definitely a sense of humor here! I like your title and how it describes your photo. I think I would have cropped the bottom fence lines off for a better composition.

I think the tilte is trying to compensate for lack of impact or subject in the image

I like this shot a great deal. The angle of the sunlight and shadows on the subjects is great. I wish you had cropped the rail and fence out though. I don't think it adds anything to the photo and may indeed distract from the otherwise simple beauty. The deepness of the sky is wonderful. Bumping from a 6 to 7.
