The heartbeat is a constant reminder of our mortality. Of course, its fascinating rhythm has nothing on your histogram here.

as I lay in a delirium, wondering if I will feel your heart again. Thank you for encouraging hope.

I don't know if I can hear the heartbeat, but I like the image.

...I'm still working on this one. Defibrillators in action?
headlights in your eyes? last thoughts before, uh, ...?
Good luck with this interesting exercise in imagination.

Before looking at the title, I thought this was for sense of sight, and thought it was a great idea. Made me want to rub my eyes. I was disappointed to find out it was about hearing... :)

Defocused pictures can give a warm, fuzzy feel- but it helps when you have either an easily identified subject, or an interesting use of colors to make it look purposeful.

As far as photography goes, this sort of shot does nothing for me, sorry.

Luckily, I'm willing to use a title for guidance, and in this case your title totally rescued you. I see where you are going with this, and find it quite effective.
