G C
My friends all say that I am just a black sheep
D7 G
And that I’m not wanted here below
C
They say that I’m not worthy to be near them
D7 G
Please tell me God where can a black sheep go

C
I never had no one down here to love me
D7 G
You see I’ve never met my mom and dad
C
They went away when I was just a small boy
D7 G
Not many kind friends have I ever had

D7 G
Could You make room in heaven for a black sheep
A7 D7
Could you love me and treat me as your own
G C
Or will I still be treated like an outcast
D7 G
A black sheep who must always play alone

C
The clothes may not be pretty that I’m wearing
D7 G
But you know that I can’t help the way I look
C
I wonder if you’d search the holy pages
D7 G
And tell me if my name is in Your book

Revisiting - and still I love this as much as on first viewing. Indeed, with each viewing I find new layers and subtleties.

Don, Very well done. Your processing keeps the viewers eye busy with no resolve. I love images that provokes more questions than answers. Thanks

A wonderful compilation. The barn reminds of 35mm film, fitting for black sheep.

I really liked this one. Not knowing the song at all, made up my own story of what was going on. Thanks.

So it's yours. I looked through colleen's portfolio then ubique's then whitroom's then gave up. I did get to see a lot of great images so it was worth the search. Beautiful image. You should have gotten a posthumous for that.

This black sheep will go directly to my "gallery" and will not be alone anymore.
My only 10 in this race.
Spectacular shot.

That is a nice barn. Not a place I'd like to be alone at night. Great job at capturing a feeling of fear, desperation, dread.

There is evil in this. A beautiful evil it is. Evokes horror.

Seems like I've seen this barn in a prior photo but can't remember whose it was. I love this image.

Wicked shot, dark and ghostly and a bit mysterious.

There is a contemporary Cornish painter, John Piper whose paintings are so similar - I have one hanging in my sitting room!

I find this photo thrilling. I don't understand why, but it is totally captivating. There are several very interesting techniques here which I've not seen before, and which create separate levels, dimensions, pockets of interest, layers, emotions. Perhaps the weirdest sheep I've ever seen...
