 I am pleased how this has turned out although the washed out look may not have many fans. That is real fog though! I was trying to create a dreamy look but my Photoshop skills are still lacking.

I have been driving on our local country roads looking for ideas. I was originally planning a Slim Dusty song (Australian country) but then this came about. West Virginia is very far away from Nutfield in Victoria (the home of the late Peter Brock, the well known Australian racing driver) but the longing must be all the same. Hoping for 5.7+

6.87 at 100 with a 10 vote. Most likely one of those 10s that disappear on rollover. Still much better than expected. Given luck Top 5 as there are quite a few very likely 7s.

imho, the photos rated higher then your photo, while they had 'country song titles', said nothing to me of 'country music' which I believe was at the root and true heart of the challenge. Expert editing? ehh, not a fan of it - it's not photography to me. To me, your photo looks like it could have been achieved with a tripod and long exposure. So, I think your photo should have been the blue ribbon winner. But what does a snapshot-taker like me know...?

Very effective, great use of expert editing options, I love how the silhouette anchors the image in the lower left area while the road and fence lead you through the rest of the image. Great mistiness in the background.
