 I came across this Quinceañera shoot during a photo walk. On Saturdays, this fountain is usually surrounded by wedding parties, but today it was the background for this Latino coming-of-age ritual.

I attended one last year for my nanny's granddaughter - whose dress looked remarkably like this one. Here is an outtake of almost the full court (chamberlains, etc.).



It is interesting to note that none of these girls is older than 15, and many are probably wearing high heels for the very first time.

I wonder how many times you had to shoot this one to get everyone off the ground and not mid jump or landing while other are in mid air. Good emotional capture! Everyone looks so happy!

Very nicely executed group portrait. A lot of fun is expressed by each of the people. Great color and good exposure. One thing I see that you could have done with the composition would be to to center the fountain behind the ladies. It is off center and kind of distracts. Otherwise very well done.

What a fun shot! I imagine this was quite difficult to time! You have done an excellent job. My only small critique is it is slightly over processed for my taste
