I'm glad I took a peek at your portfolio. This is a fun photo. Very creative. I'm curious, what is the reflection in the top left of the bowl? Looks like a fence or the front of a Jeep? ;^)

This is such a cool idea. I like the goldfish but it would have been even more fun to have a piece of glass or a mirror inside the bowl to look like water and lines on their poles. So far, this is one of the best though. 10

Hehe - in a great kinda way! The use of the fish and fisherman is true genious. Great exposure and focus. Composition-wise, you don't need all the bottom - it's oof and doesn't add anything. Try cropping out at least 1/2 or better yet 2/3 of the distance from the base to the lip of the cup. Even with that distraction, it's in my top 10.

great shot! really captures the essence of the challenge. i can only find a couple of things to be picky about, and neither are enough to takes points away. i think i would like it better without the blue foreground. while the overall lighting is excellent, i wonder if there is anyway to eliminate the hotspots reflecting off the bowl? (btw, don't they sell miniature coolers at the hobby store?) good luck!

Voted earlier, returning for comments.

Very nice concept, but you know, while the crackers are a good prop, I would have filled mug with water to catch the reflections of the fishermen. Bumping from 5 to 6

Absolutely wonderful use of colour - I particularly like how the blue is at the bottom and the green at the top in a reversal of the familiar position of sky and grass in so many shots. Is the blue a napkin wrapped around the bowl? The vivid orange works superbly with the blue and green and I also notice how the miniature figuresd have the same blue in their clothes. Composition is superb as is DOF. One of my favourites. 10
