Congratulations on your 9th place finish. This is a classic and a candidate for DPC prints. You already have 5 favotites and 6 with me. As a matter of fact I would not have even flinched had this lovely image taken the blue.

Pretty good stuff - to my eye, you could have pushed the high-key background thing a touch more, and the mid-tone point is on the dark side: but you get the benefit of the doubt with folks' variations in monitors. Detail is good, poses good (luck or patience?).

I rarely give 10's at all and I don't think I've ever given a really high score for a cat photo, but this one gets it without hesitation! I know well what difficult models cats can be, but you got such great looks from both of them.

a lovely picture...but, don't we expect the kitten to be small? Surely it doesn't surprise us.

OMG that is just adorable. Very well done photo, and I know not very easy to do, cats and kittens dont really like to pose. :) 10

Love this shot, excellent expressions and poses, focus is perfect, I like the lighting, but some people might say it's flat, let them try to take this picture :) Touch of glare in the large cat's eye, you can clone it out for prints. The title adds so much to the image, too! Great capture, one of my few 10s for the challenge.

The best I've seen yet! First, a great title. Next, cute subjects. I love how the big cat is looking down at the little one. The lighting is great. Nice seamless background. Nice detail in the cat fur, this is a really sharp image.

Excellent work.

Not bad. Like the way the big cat has its head bent to the smaller but is kind of looking out the corner of his eye.

Dynamically precious! Those blue eyes! Those tiny claws! And mama's motherly proud look. This must have been hard to set up - and yet you have not only a great subject (challenge or no challenge) but well composed, lit and focused. This photo goes way beyond a "cat picture" and should draw lots of positive comments. Good Luck! 10
