 Though I don't like this photo specifically I decided to try it as my color entry. Lacking any kind of story etc. but I thought macro immediately when I thought of the challenge so there you go. PP was minimal tweaking...

I like your concept, but I'm not crazy about the exxecution. Maybe it's the lighting.. I just feel like there isn't enough contrast in this image, just a lot of red. -shrug-
