And yet another image I really want to do.

Did you really do this with the 28-135??? I don't think I believe that.

Lovely image Leo. Your wife is beautiful, and did a great job putting up with you! One nit pick...the leash! It must weigh more than the cat in the dog costume, and who walks a cat on a leash anyway? ;)

The insane thing is that people could not see that the woman was looking into the sun (therefore you must have been looking away from the sun).

The light is low...check
The shadows are heading towards the model...check
The sun is in her face...check

It must not meet challenge because there is a shadow on her face...DNMC!!!!!

I am about ready to lose it for the incredibly stupid and narrow interpretations that some folks have while voting.

This is a really nice shot, worth a 7 during voting from me.

I'm sorry I misjudged you, Leo. I gave this a 1 because I was certain she was not walking west. Titles are very important to me, you see.

Congrats on the great finish. Great shot.

Congrats on the excellent score and the near-top ten finish!" Hmmm, decisions decisions...

See; I recently joined the Coffee Arabic party, a group that copied the Tea Party ideals, and for my initiation I have to come up with some really silly doubts to prove worthy to join the chapter of the Tea Party/Coffee Arabica.

Between the spring and fall equinoxes, the sun sets in the northwest in the northern hemisphere, so it makes sense it'd be off to the left side of the image at sunset:

Great use of the warm light to highlight her skin tones.

tells a story doesn't it? the soft focus hurts it a bit but it's still a captivating image

great image

a bit of a contrast vs my cliche of west picturing say a cowboy riding into the sunset, I did not expect a lady in fancy shoes with a tiny dog and carrying a large bag, maybe west is not so far after all, mayeb she has already walked a long distance on that road

Great use of that lovely golden hour light. I’m really liking the story this image is telling me. The suitcase is a nice touch. Well done and good luck.

Hmmm....something is not right with this photo....oh I know...she would have gotten a ride in about 14 seconds ! Good take on challenge. However, I'm willing to bet some people complain about the light coming from the "left. You get a high score from me though.
