i like the cropping, sharpness in the face and softness in the back. the light tones are amazing as well. the blue eyeball however is a bit cheesy

This is a great shot. Perfect title. Nice desat job. It really works well here. I like the cropping too; I wouldn't have thought to crop it that way. Very unique. This photo is perfect. 10

This shot has been done many times, but I think that you made it work. The placement of the face in the frame makes me feel like I need to know more about this man. Good job.

I like the composition and title as I feel as if you've caught a glimpse but texture of the eye isn't quite right...

Someone taking the bravery test....select desat and high key in one pic :)
I love both techniques and this is a great example of how well it can work.
Blending the skin tones into the background ..making the subject appear to emerge from the light is something I really like to see. The blue tones in the eye just help to add impact to the overall package. Great composition into the bargain.
I really hope this does well as it deserves to....10

Really nice B&W. I like how his shoulder fades out to white. His eyes are a bit unnatural blue, but I think it is still effective. Great cropping. Very good!

My favorite of the challenge! Love the lighting and how the back dissolves into the background. The details of the face are pristine and the B&W tones and composition are spot on. The eye speaks for itself. Bravo!
