Anytime! I love looking at wildflowers and trying to identify them. I don't recall ever seeing glacier lilies with spotted leaves like that though ...
Shannon, did you know that these are bulb flowers, and grizzly bears like to eat these bulbs. I have read that they (the grizlies) have been observed digging up the bulbs and leaving them to dry on the surface, then returning a few days later to eat them. Exposure to the air sweetens the bulbs supposedly. |
