No strings attached, could have done that in basic.

-Apr. 21st, 2011 03:08:26 AM-

Started with a decent 7.9 @10 votes, now down to 6.4. Makes me think voters are too fast and believe I used fishing line. Man, this shot took me more than a day! Will post the setup later.

-Apr. 26th, 2011 03:27:16 AM-

Up to 6.59; still lower than expected, but seems to be a quite low scoring challenge. Here's a snap of my basic setup; for the actual entry I moved the "windows" to the front and shot from above right.

Oh, and obviously I am neither tanguera nor gyaban :)

this was one of my top scorers. thanks for posting the very creative setup. really makes me aware that i should be thinking outside the box more.

I love your idea, especially since I got a similar one ;-) One difference is that you used it at much bigger scale, which makes it virtually undetectable: very clever! Congratulations on the nice finish.

That's amazing, i can't believe it was done in a box, ingenious to say the least.

I also could have sworn this was a tanguara entry. Great finish!

Incredible! Gave this a 10 and deserved every bit of it! Score doesn't make sense. Most people must have thought fishing lines were used which IMO should be disallowed in these challenges unless it is expert editing.

Nice idea, took me a second to work out what was happening then made me smile.

Beautifully lit, and a clever idea, but the missing frame on the wall is such a strong presence that I wonder if leaving it in, and the chair out, might have made a better entry. As is the place where the frame was and the chair vie for attention. Top five.

We all probably guessed who done it! Such a great deal of work here. The title works like a glove. (I prefer this image to a lot of your pictures more staged. Hope I got the right photographer!)

Love it! Was going to diss the dirty frame outline on the wall, but somehow it grew on me.

beautiful setup, but this is not an empty room, there is a chair there and the setup makes the chair very "lively"

Very unique! Takes the "I hate chairs" out of the equation. I would like to see more room but still a 6.

Very cool. I like the sense of surrealism. Dali would like it. :)
