TT, that was the goal... thanks for all those amazing comments. So surprised how well it went, there are a lot of stories one can come up with for this image, I prefer that you as the viewer decide what happened.

Got an 8 from me.

Nice job. I think that many people think "fine art" is simply an image you can hang on the wall. To me, that is very limiting and really doesn't have anything to do with it. LOL Nonetheless, it worked and I'm so happy for you. Congrats.

For me, the pick of the best. A snippet from childhood. A half understood song. A glimpse. reminds me of a rocky schenck image. or Keith carter. My pick for the Blue. 10. Thanks for the inspiration.

Reminds me of an illustration from a children's book, or possibly something from the old Night Gallery. I have a feeling too much of the impact is derived from the frame. Anyhow, you have a place in my contemporary art gallery!

Among numerous blury images this one is not gratuitous and everything makes sense and I forget the technique and get just absorbed by the picture. Bump it to 9

I think the heavy frame overpowers the image. I really like the hint of grain. Nice sepia conversion. :) Me again. I'm negating the fact that the border is thick. I've looked this a dozen more times and am going to up my score. I'm not going to erase the original stuff, so you'll know how much I've gone back and forth. Upping to an 8

I love the child... and love the outsidetherulesness of her walking outside the frame... but the things that immediately draw my attention are the two brightest spots. I'd have darkened those and raised your score by 2 or 3... (not voting)

I could have done without the heavy frame, but if it meant also doing without the fairy tale, then that would have been a great loss.

This really appeals to me, and the only thing that kept me from rating it higher is that she is so close to going out of the frame. For some reason, that feels uncomfortable to me.

Back to comment... This almost has a sinister undertone to it. The two bright white spots remind me of someone watching who doesn't belong. Very emotive in that we can't see her face and really can't tell where the danger signal is coming from. Well done!
