To get the shot I used a cut out picture of a hanged man and then tied the loop end of a yo-yo string around the ankle and dangled it off the side of a table for the "hanging" effect. I then used a basic flashlight to capture the shadow on the wall to get a more vintage look. The flashlight battery started to die out on me towards my last few shots. I desaturated the image, cropped once and played with the contrast. Lastly I added the border.

One of my favorites. Love the effects you created with that setup. Dreams of the improbable.

Yay! I'll definitely take 7th place. Thank you everyone for such wonderful comments and scores. I really enjoyed checking in everyday and reading the comments. This was a tough challenge and I was trying to capture the mysteriousness of the "tarot". I'm still new to the site and excited to keep shooting and learning new things.

one of my top 5, I like the idea and it's very well executed. Feels very "tarot card" in it's slightly awkward composition and grain.

Somehow you have captured the most spectacular Hitchcockian image! I saw your photo and immediately heard Bernard Herrmann in my head. Lovely!
