I get what you're saying and if someone you gave this to loves it then that is great! However submitting it to a challenge we cannot be expected to take that into consideration. I think, in general, you will find most serious photographers will not like a border, especailly one like this. For me, I feel it adds nothing to the image. A portrait of a mother and her child is beautiful enough to stand on its own. But again, these are just my thoughts. Everyone is different. |

| what is up with this border?! next time maybe do a solid color, like black or something that compliments the photo nicely. also when it comes to teeth and editing, the final product needs to still look natural. |
